As known from Typhonium venosum (Sauromatum venosum) that the spadix has a raised temperature compared with the environment during the start of flowering I discovered lately that A.italicum does the same although not so clearly as Typhonium. Maybe a 5-7 °C but it can be feeled.
Has anyone else discovered this or is this well known?
Greetings, Gijs
