My approximately 4 inch peace lily, which I got at Lowe's as an impulse buy at a deep discount as it looked very sad, is doing something that I have never seen before. Background: I got the plant home, nurtured it to the hilt for the past few months. Well, yesterday I noticed about 10 "sprout" things growing out of the dirt in various places around the plant. They don't appear to be attached to the main plant, but I guess they could be somewhere underground. They look like seedlings, but I a) didn't think spathiphyllums self sow, and b) the plant hasn't flowered since I've had it, anyway. So my question is...what are these things??? I have done an extensive google search and come up with nothing.
