Riz - where did you get it? Could be A. triphyllum. Anyone else want to guess?

It is A. fargesii.

It would appear to be in the fargesii group at least, but many of those look quite similar and even two different influorescence of fargesii can be vastly different so it can be hard to tell without examining the reproductive bits and pieces I would think. For example, here are a couple of fargesii in my back yard this spring:

I'm guessing this must be a Chen Yi acquisition which means all bets are off :o) Dan
