A. italicum seedlings first winter treatment

From a handfull of seed sown this late spring, I have about 100+ seedlings. These are sown in a seed tray about 3" deep and are just now starting to go dormant. Should I leave these in the tray till next year or even longer, or try to place them out in open ground. Tubers are quite small, about garden pea size, but seem to have nice roots throughout the mix. The single leaves have yellowed and fallen away for the most part.
