I have very nice sized stands of Amorphophallus konjac and Sauromatum venustum in my garden and both of these are now starting to spread into areas beneath shrubs and benches where they don't belong. I need to dig some of these out of place tubers and move them to a new area.

When is the best season to dig the tubers, and should I immediately replant or store or otherwise?
