Amorphophallus bulbifer
hi. i've been searching trying to find out how to plant a few bulbils of an Am. bulbifer that i was recently given. the things i've found say to plant about 2-3" deep (bulbs range in size from a quarter to a little smaller than a dime) with the top up... ummm, is the 'top' of the bulbil where it was attached to the plant or will the plant emerge from the rounded part (the part which was facing up instead of where it was attached to the plant)? one of the bulbils seems to have a little rounded part which makes me think that's where the plant will emerge, but i dunno...
thanks
