Looks like a very unhappy African mask. Give it more light, see how it leans toward the light.

Thanks for your help, now I know the common name as well! Cactusfreak named it Alocasia amazonica, some fellows in Germany call it A. sanderiana and I'm not able to differentiate between them. The I.A.S-Alocasia-site has none of them, are they synonymes?
But I suppose it is not so unhappy as you regret. It is not blooming for fear of death. The length of the stalks is quite regular and I can't help the light from its horizontal direction. Please compare pictures of some Amorphophallus-individuals in jungle ( or secondary forests ) with very high petioles, growing towards the light beyond the crowns of the trees. In more sun in our gardens or G.H.s the plants are more compact!
Generally I turn the plants on my windowsill a small angle every now and then - but I neglected this for a while
