Alocasia Amazonica isn't a species but is a hybrid created from one of two parent groups, most likely a hybrid of Alocasia watsoniana x Alocasia sanderiana.

Your plant doesn't look exactly like they hybrid commonly sold as Alocasia Amazonica but that really isn't important due to the natural variability of aroids. Aroids may have variable leaves on the same plant and hybrids are constantly variable from plant to plant. I can't say with any certainty but the "wrinkled" plant looks like one that got too much chemical in the tissue culture process. Almost all plants sold as Alocasia Amazonica are tissue cultured which just means they were cloned in a test tube and not grown from offsets.

If the TC lab gives the clones too much chemical all sorts of strange things can happen.

I've never heard of an Alocasia Alligator but I can say for certain it shouldn't be using the name in single quotes. Single quotes indicates a registered cultivar and there is no such registration.

All registered aroid cultivars must be registered through the International Aroid Society. I just checked the registration list and there isn't any such registration. Someone just made up another name for a hybrid plant that looks a little different. Nothing wrong with that as long as you enjoy it!
