I would hesitate to even speak to this question without knowing your growing conditions and the type of plant plugs you purchased.

Culture methods vary so much during the winter depending on where people live, as to lighting, temperature, humidity etc. Many things impact how well plants can utilize any food given to them. Are they greenhouse plants? Houseplants?

I think a lot of folks don't get answers to their questions because they might ask them in a manner that leaves people uncomfortable about offering advice.

Many people are also hesitant to try to answer questions because they know (like I do) that their growing conditions cannot possibly be the same as the person asking, and that their advice could well be useless (or even potentially harmful) to that person's plant.

People can only offer their own personal experiences, and hope that someone can benefit from that.

I would personally not ever reply to a question about a plant I have never even tried to grow (like Calla lilies), because I have no hands on personal experience with them.
