My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
I have never dealt with this person (surprisingly), however, besides having a limited knowldege of exact alocasia species I can find no other indescrepencies. I do believe you will recieve the species shown in the photo, he just doesn't the exact cultivar. For example, alocaia cluster = alocasia odora, and variegaed alocasia = Alocasia machorrhiza variegata. And so on and so forth. I personally would reccommend a more professional looking website. They do seem to be a reasonably legit mail order nursery and the plants should be the correct species sent as in the photo. If they are generous with the size of the plants sent then, that would be the icing on the cake and I would reccomended them. I just wish they had an ebay score I could look at to investigate them further.
