Get a much longer TV console table. One to cover the outlets and the wires, or have the wires ran through the wall for a cleaner look.

Yes for sure hide the cords. We haven't done so yet with not deciding on what to put on the walls. I would like the TV mounted onto the wall. I'm just wondering as to kind of decor to add the the surrounding wall space. 1 or 2 larger pieces or collage? Other furniture?

I agree with Margo that a longer TV console table would be a good idea, so I've lengthened yours. It's not just to hide wires and plugs, but also to get a better balance with the size of the TV. I also suggest that where you can't cover a switch plate or whatever and it's stuck there in the middle of a wall it might be a good idea to paint it to the same colour.

Hang TV on wall or get a new media cabinet and...perhaps new furniture. Do you really want black leather furniture in your home? I don't think it's what you really want.

Black leather??? God no! My furniture right now is brown leather.

I think the wall needs a little investment of some sort...whether that's a more substantial entertainment piece or wall art and pottery arrangement on either side as suggested earlier. The good news is, you have a blank slate to work with! Lots of options!

We just got a new tv.....now for the longer media cabinet. You might like this wall/tv treatment.

I sort of based this off of the little hint of style i saw with the bowl in the coffee table.

Do real simple cubby cabinet for some reason room looks modern that will give you modern look

Our space is not as extended as yours. The picture shows what we did with the space. I recommend that you define the wall space with visual demarcations that work well with the a joining dining room area(my guess).
