hmmmm ~~ i suspect you're not going to find them here ~~ this board hasn't been very busy either ~~ where are all the gardeners?

You call this not busy? Looks like there were tens of posts today alone! The 5 gardening boards I followed on the AOL message boards used to have that much combined. Now there is nothing for days and weeks, then a couple on one board, then none again. It's depressing.

I used to be on the AOL message boards (a few years ago), until we cancelled our AOL service - we had bigtime service issues with them...but I really miss the gardening boards. I remember Gypsophylia and PurNRG were always active there, but I haven't seen them here anywhere.

I used to be on the gardening boards there in the late 90s!
I wouldn't call GW slow. There are a lot of people cruising these boards. More people read than respond sometimes though.

The perennials forum is one of the busiest gardening forums at GW, esp. during the summer. But it does slow down to a crawl during the winter. THere isn't much happening for most of us with our perennials in January! :)

It ebbs and flows. On beautiful fall days like these (in New England) we're all out raking, planting bulbs, and hitting the sales at local nurseries and Lowe's. Then we're too tired to post.

GW and Dave's are my hangouts. Mostly Dave's. Although the ads and really ticking me off here at GW. pop up surveys, float over ads, etc. Annoying as all heck.
