I just tried another search for "Tea rose" on garden web, and this brought up these threads
- "Help ! is my goldfish sick?"
-and another thread on most fragrant roses, without a single Tea rose listed.

another search for Old Garden Tea brought up;
- a compost thread
- Byrons best tea recipe " for a beverage, and
-what books are recommended for new england gardeners?

What do a Tea rose and a goldfish have in common?

O.K. at this point I'm laughing, but I really did want to continue my research.

is there a better gardening search engine that has information regarding Old Garden Roses?

Thanks,

Lux.

Help Me Find?

Here is a link that might be useful: HelpMeFind

There is a way to set up Google to only search Gardenweb. Go to the "advanced search" option of Google.

In "Search within a site or domain" put gardenweb.com

Then put what you are search for in the top boxes.

I wouldn't search the entire garden web. Just the Antique Roses Forum.

Be sure to click the Search link just about the forum's title. Don't use the box with the Go button next to it.

thank you henry kuska, and bellegallica for responding,

I had been doing advanced searches for Tea roses on the Antique rose forum, (without using the "go" prompt) with no results.
after I followed your advice, henry I went to google advanced search
and entered "Tea rose"
and prompted for words that I did not want searched for as "Hybrid Tea"
-on gardenweb.com
which was too much to hope for, because what came up next on google advanced/gardenweb.com was this message "no documents found"

Now that I've removed the prompt of Hybrid Tea for "unwanted words" there are many threads listed together under the prompting of Tea and Hybrid Tea at garden web.com

Thank you very much for your help.
