I didn't even know they make raised coldframes, but just had to search to see what I could find. Number 1 result on Google? Your post. You're also #2, 3, and 4! LOL

Did futz a bit with the wording, and, although I didn't find any merchants, I did find one singular site (listed below) that speaks of one, so maybe you can contact the author, and find out where he or she got the one used. The site is really experiments in propagation, but that doesn't matter, if the author can tell you where to buy one.

If that doesn't work out, you might consider asking Home Depot or Lowe's, if they can make you one, assuming you can pay for one. If you can't, maybe a local VoTech school might make one for you as a class project.

I have seen plenty of people make greenhouses structures out of old windows and a table top. If you are handy, here is a link for creating one yourself http://www.doityourself.com/stry/oldwindowuses. I would think all you need is a table and put a cold frame like the ones at this site on them http://www.greenhouses-etc.net/ghse-halls/halls_cold_frames.htm. Or I found an interesting site that sells plans for making a variety of things out of tires for the garden. One of them is a cold frame that looks like it is on a tire planter. I ended up going on e-bay and getting a GREAT deal on a coldframe and then I installed it on an old workbench at justthe right height for me. I added foam insulation under the frame to help keep it warm and added a seedling heatmat to keep it from getting too cold during the winter. Looks good and will work just as well as the ones I bought. And a LOT cheaper! LOL

I figured you for a handy guy! And now you probably got one that is better than the ones you bought ready made! Glad it worked out for you.

What ended up is much more adaptiable if I should need to raise or lower the level of the frame, AND a whole LOT less expensive than the ones I bought! LOL Glad I went to e-bay and then poked around in my basement! I even have a narrow shelf at one side of this one for any tools, plants ect. I might need to move about while working in the frame.
