SUV Recommendations Attn: Nelson!!

Hey everyone,

Two weeks ago, I totalled my Ford Escape, which I loved. I can't find another one just like it, but I found a Mitsubishi Outlander. Nelson, do you like yours?? I've been reading reviews online and the main thing people are complaining about is the gas mileage and acceleration. The gas mileage is the biggest concern for me since I drive 60 miles round trip every day for work.

Does anyone know of any vehicles they would recommend (sp?)? Has to be a small SUV like an Escape, or Outlander, or small truck like a Ranger or Tacoma. Does anyone have any experience with Outlanders? (besides you Nelson)

My last day on my rental is tuesday, so I need a vehicle ASAP.

I love my Hyundai Tucson...its amazing what I can fit into it...be sure the one you buy has seats that fold down flat including the front passenger seat, a rear window that opens separately from the tail gate, and a rubber tray to catch the dirt when you buy plants. I load plants into SUV's everyday and I can't believe some don't have these obvious features...the ones that really get me are the ones with beige carpeting!
