I have a rice paper plant that has crawled under the fence from a neighbor's house. I am perfectly delighted as I wanted one any way. All that is there now is a bare stalk and what appears to be some soft mushy material at the very top (about an inch or so). It is about 2' to 2 1/2' tall. Do I cut it back even with the ground, cut the soft tip off or just leave it? Please e-mail me direct as I have just moved and have boxes piled up the wall. Can't check the site like I should.
