I'm starting to put together my garden for the second year in an area I'm reclaiming behind my house in Opelika. Tooling around in the soil over the past few weeks, I've been finding grubs. Not a lot, but enough that I now expect to find one or two every time I'm working back there.

I don't know if they were there last year or not (I rototilled the soil, as it was my first attempt to reclaim this area). At what grub frequency level should I start to take measures to get rid of them? Or is it possible that some are beneficial? I can't find any good information about this online.

Any ideas? I'd appreciate the help!
