Yes hope the rain is gone for awhile, got outside today to clear away some privet trees for my new spot for my daylilies garden but still windy and cold. I am so addicted to them now. Cant wait for spring!!!!!!!!!

Yes, i know - it is windy, not too cold here - but at least it is not raining! :)

have been outside - cutting back all the ornamental grasses - my cast iron plants as needed - some mum "sticks" (new ones coming up though) -

I cut AT my crepe myrtles - i like them "tree-shaped" with different sized limbs.

Now i think i will go take pics of all my daffodils - narcissus - and some other bulbs that are blooming!

Spring is ON THE WAY! YAY!!!!!

Thankfully!-We actually have algea floating on our grass on one spot. One goal for this summer is to get a french drain in!

Well it may be gone for this week maybe. But we are about to enter 'tornado' season. Now ya'll all know that!!! hehehe

Frankly though, I am so sick of all this nasty, nasty weather. And cannot wait til spring comes.

One of my biggest disappointments so far this year though has been that warm spell we had back in January. And I am still hoping it hasn't really hurt my tulips, hyacinth, daffodils and other spring blooming bulbs. And trees and shrubs. Sometimes something like that can stunt their growth. OR cause the flowers to not be as attractive. Oh well...sigh. what are you gonna do???

Sure, it's nice now since I'm working from before daylight until after dark. When I have time on the weekend I bet it will rain again. Seems like the last several weekends something (rain, snow, wind, family commitments) has kept me from getting the yard work done that I need to do.

Oh well, Spring and warm weather will be here soon.
