I doubt that you will find anyone selling almond trees in Alabama because we don't have the kind of climate that these particular plants require. However, I'd think that you could find them on-line.

...or do you mean the ornamental, flowering, non-bearing kind of almond? ;-)

Rhizo, thanks for responding. I live in Rainbow City, near Gadsden. I had an almond tree that lived for about 22 years and just died this year...old age, I guess. I bought it in 1985 from Arab Nursery, but no longer carry them. I picked nuts annually, but I did have a problem with it having disease.

Wow! Well, I think you should locate an on line nursery, to carry on your success with this plant. I wish I could make suggestions, but if no one in this forum can help with a nursery, you may want to post this same question in the Fruits and Orchards (or something like that) Forum. Be sure to clarify that it's the nut-bearing almond that you are seeking.

Lots of 'fruit and nut' folks over there, many with a huge amount of experience.
