Hi Terry, I got it for you today at the plant sale in Gadsden, I wanted to balance our swap a bit. This plant has more names than anything I have researched. Known also as Hemerocallis fulva, common name Tawny Daylily. These details from a book I have by the name 'The Encyclopedia of Essential Bulbs' It lists 'Hypericon'(wrong spelling) and 'Red Siren' as recommended varieties. But first I saw the name 'Hyperion' on some web page a few days ago, and can't locate it now. The plant is yours if you want to try it. I was really tickled to think that I had found it for you. You are very welcome. I got a daylily for myself named 'Ruffled Apricot'. So in a couple of years we can swap daylilies. My Grandma W. was a big collector of daylilies, I knew that family trait would appear some day.
