Do your antique PINK ones get the milldew also? My pink ones do not, but all of my other ones, white blue violet and red, get it so badly. There is a comercial spray you can use, but I haven't tried it. I will only be bringing the PINK ones down to my Southern garden.

Gaining control of powdery mildew is a multi step project. Attached is a link with some good information. Just remember that your best 'home remedies' include changes in your cultural practices, general housekeeping tasks, and other preventative chores.

water, skim milk and baking soda: Small amounts of baking soda and skim milk. A teaspoon milk, pinch soda, one gallon of water. Spritz it on them. The skim milk will not burn like oil and will serve as a spreader-sticker.

Will give this a try. I really don't want to use anything that will hurt my hummingbirds and butterflies.
