My coworker has a hibiscus that needs to be cut back but she is not quite sure how far it needs to be cut back. It is the large dinner plate size variety that comes back each year. She has it in a terracotta planter and wants to know if she would be better off transplanting it into the dirt. If so, how should she prepare the soil? Thanks for the help.
