I tend to be a couple of degrees warmer here than the MOAA Madison forecast (which says 44 tonight right now). Still, it's not going to make those peppers happy, so I'll be covering them up.

As of today, they raised the lows a bit on the 10-day - depending on which weather service you look at. However, I'm keeping a watchful eye.

At least one website is saying 39 for Gadsden for that date. No peppers planted in my yard, and my Madagascar succulents are already back in - they do not like anything below 45!

This is why I always wait until at least the 15th of April to plant.

Now the predicted low for Wednesday is 33. I'll be out with the remay for sure.

I will NEVER forget 21 degrees on the 21st of April. That was devastating. I will not be lulled into believing winter is over by 90 degree days again. I have not planted anything nor lugged out the houseplants...I am not a gambler anymore.
