i think you could bury part of the limb and it will come out.or go ahead and cut it back and plant the cuttings..

Terry, when I cut my wisteria back, I put the cuttings in a 5 Gallon bucket filled with top soil and sand. I have most of them to root. If you want any of the purple, I have several rooted now.

Tony, thanks for the information and thanks for the offer of purple. I have my eye on some two-tone purple growing just off Hwy 150. It is so purple it almost glows. I already have white and pink and I want to root some to share with others.

Hey Terry! Just lay it on the ground, spray it with Round Up, set it on fire, jump up and down on it, pour gasoline on it, and leave it for dead. It will root!
