Mulch question

I searched the FAQ so I hope my question is not redundant.

The past couple of weeks I have seen two landscapes where a fine pine bark mulch ,pea size, were used . It contained no wood chips and was very fine. It looked like the cheap 99 cent top soil without the fly ash and sand mixed in.It looked very nice. Does anyone know if this is something being sold or maybe a custom made mulch ?

Pine bark mulch can be purchased in various particle sizes, from shredded to large-sized particles, called nuggets. Check the bags at garden centers or check with a landscape supply center.

Lowes & Home Depot have it. The bags are labelled "Soil Conditioner".

I can get it by the scoop at Corums in Hartselle also sold as soil conditioner. Check with you local Coop as it is about 1/4 the price of buying by the bags.
