New to gardening. Last year grass and weeds took me over with the exception of the squash and cucumbers surviving as I didn't know what was a weed and what was my plants after that stretch of downpours overwhelmed my defenses. This year i used a better tiller and really worked hard to prepare the ground well and have been diligent pulling weeds as I know what to look for. I've planted cucumber, squash, watermelon, pumpkin, tomato, green pepper and cantelope. However, I see a few of these suckers and didn't know what they were so I've been letting them grow. They don't look like any of the seed I got.
