Naturalized Amaryllis?

Hi everyone. I'm mostly a lurker here but I have a question I was hoping someone could help me with. I have recently seen several homes with large plantings of what look like Amaryllis. All the ones I'm seeing are red and they look smaller than the kind you find in stores around the holidays. I'm assuming they multiplied well on their own considering the masses I'm seeing them in.

Anyone know of any nurseries that have them available or are there some other sources? Would love to get some of these for my own garden. And if anyone around the Heflin/Anniston area has some (any color) they'd like to trade I do have some perennial plants available.
