I have curcuma 'Purple Prince' that I got at a ginger sale at the Mobile Botanical Gardens several years ago. If you are close to Mobile, you might check out one of their semi annual plant sales (Fall and Spring). They usually have lots of gingers of all kinds.

Lynn, two of the main ginger nurseries I use are Pecan Lake Farm and Gingers of Texas, both in TX. They both have a Raspberry curcuma, the only Raspberry Plume I found online was from a wholesale nursery. There is also a raspberry curcuma at Aloha Tropicals but you should avoid them. Gingers of Texas does not have a minimum order requirement, Pecan Lake's is $20. GOT is my favorite. Happy hunting!

I'm tempted to try curcumas in my Birmingham/North Shelby/Zone 7b garden but don't know if they are hardy here. Different sites list different hardiness zones so I like to know if anyone in or around Birmingham has experience with growing them outdoors.
