We have a passalong fig tree planted at the end of the driveway. The fig is probably 20 years old and over 10-12 feet tall and about 12 feet wide. Trunks in places are as big around as my forearm. It is full of figs right now. We were told it is Brown Turkey. Year before last I did a trade with a guy in New Jersey and as part of the trades he sent what was supposed to be Brown Turkey but the leaves are definitely different. How can we tell for sure? Is there a leaf pattern that will identify the variety?
