Woohoo and yippee!! Congrats on your sprouts plantrancherbecca!! Ya done good. I'm happy dancing with and for you. Isn't it exciting? I've got lots of jugs with sprouts and I'm eagerly awaiting more. This totally rocks and I'm going to be planting WS seedlings for months and months. My neighbors are beginning to wonder about all the milk jugs on the breezeway. I say let 'em wonder!! Won't be long before they see what it's all about.

Congrats, plantrancherbecca!

Thanks for the cheers! Happy dancing and planting to all!

Wonderful happy dancing and sprouts. I have a little helper too, I have to keep unloading his toy car because he wants to haul my seed containers all over the yard.

Whoo, hoo! Which seeds sprouted?

When I checked mine last week there were none yet. Think I will check them again tomorrow. (I really wanted to go out and check right now but it is dark. I considered using a flashlight. LOL)

I saw this thread and was jealous that I didn't have any sprouts yet, so I went out and checked my containers one more time. I have sprouts! Lettuce, creeping thyme, and one tiny liatris.

Congrats missanissa!

Got a hot Zone 4 happy sprout dance going on here!! Yippee! Good for you plantrancherbecca & missanissa! Won't be too much longer before those sprouts are filling up your flowerbeds, choking out weeds and making the neighbors jealous.
Pictures are always good too. When you figure out how to post pictures of your sproutlings, let me know so I can post a few of my own. Lots of greenies growing in the jug jungle here in CT but so far they've all got just their cotyledon leaves.

So excited for you this is my first year and I am afraid it got warm to early for some of my "native" seeds. ( I got hooked on this a little later than ideal.) But I am still out there checking them everyday. My kids are not excited yet but wait until they see green in the first of the over 60 jugs on the front yard. Yeah the neighbors that didn't give me jugs are all staring as they walk by.
Good job ladies I am just going to cross my fingers and keep hoping.

Finally got sprouts in one(out of about 20)containers...dwarf hollyhocks...now I have hope for the rest! I have mostly toms from Trudi and some older flower seeds to see if they're any good. Weather's been up and down, 40's lately(freezing at night), but it's supposed to reach 70 next week. Maybe (real)Spring is on its way!
