Do you want a regular thermometer or a minumum/maximum device? You'd have to remember to reset the latter every day.

Do you have a good rain guage? :-) We'll get you all fixed up.

I think the 2nd--I want something that will tell me the high and low for the day. Dont have a rain gauge, yet.

I saw one (thermometer) that looked good, but you had to keep the sensor out of direct sun and rain.

Try the Taylor brand high and low thermometer. CASSCO on Hwy 231 east of Montgomery has them for about $16. I have two, one for the north and one for the south end of the greenhouse.

There are so many minimum/maximum thermometers on the market. Just make sure that you purchase one that is labeled for outdoor use (not only greenhouse or indoor). Also, for more accurate results, place your thermometer in a protected place in your garden, out of direct sun and not on a wall that absorbs and reflects radiant heat.

No reason to spend alot of money on your device.
