I am interested in obtaining some bulbs for force blooming this winter. I have simply purchased them at Home Depot in past years, but they usually don't showing up in the garden center till around Thanksgiving, if I recall correctly. Thusly, you start getting blooms in late January. I would like to start the bulbs earlier and perhaps start getting blooms in late November or early December. Perhaps there are technical reasons why I can't do this? I read somewhere that these bulbs are "specially treated" to bloom early. Where can I order them, assuming they are available this time of year?
