It's the orange season ;-)

R.'Iceberg' has a few blooms and the A.palmatum 'Dissectum' is still showy in muted burgundy.

My maple has just turned a brilliant red also, and I still have daylilies blooming, even after several nights of below freezing temps here! Strange year, I'm thinking!! :)

I have daylilies blooming, new for me. Several other mixed up plants too so I second that living in the south can produce unusual plant activities this time of year.

Well, We've got the roses, and a neat little wildflower called a Southern Monkshood (Blue) blooming today, and some Painted Daisies. I also believe some of our Iris are coming up rather nicely.

We had a nice surprise this morning. A beautiful humming bird feeding at the Shrimp plants. they usually are out of here by Mid October. And my African Iris are blooming. Strange things are happening.
