What dimensions (height, width, depth, length) and what style are you looking for?

Try southeastern salvage over by the walmart in irondale, they have some great prices on clay pots but they also have the light weight ones.

Try Myer's in Pelham. They have the large plastic pots which look like clay.

You might want to check out Old Time Pottery, as well.

Paulette, I just love that place some great prices on stuff if you dont mind a little damage also. They mark stuff way down when it has damage but you have to be there at the right time.

I was at Old Time Pottery near Myers on Friday and didn't see a whole lot of planters -- seems that seasonal merchandise crowded out much of the pottery...

Well, guess what I got for my 25th anniversary? I received a large, waist high terra cotta planter (from Myer's). It is classic vase shaped with dark red rim and shoulders and dark cobalt blue below that. When spring comes I'm going to plant the alocasia portodora in it. I also have a tiny leafed wandering jew with purple-red on the back of the green topped leaves that I'll plant to drape over the edge or maybe chartreuse sweet potatoes. Only about 108 days until spring.
