I have it. It is ok for me. It takes breaks but flowers every 4-6 weeks. I spray so I don't know about resistance. I prefer PJPII by a wide margin and I am considering removing moondance and putting in another PJPII I have in my pot ghetto.

I love Moondance. For me it blooms a lot and while it might take a break it won't be without flowers for long. The blooms really do smell like raspberries. I spray, and it does get some blackspot when I slack, but not a lot. It's one of my favorite roses.

Moondance is one of my favorite roses!! To me it smells like fresh green grapes, and sometimes with a hint of rasberries. My bush is huge, two yrs. old, continuous blooming, and has not a whiff of any disease-it is next to Queen E., which gets mildew and rust every yr.-but blooms so well I don't have the heart to get rid of it. I have PopeJPII also, and it's fragrance is also divine-citrus, but Moondance is so much more luminous. All they have in common is that they are both white. I do have my roses on a non-spray regimen, and I feed them well-so have been getting lots of blooms from them. Moondance is also proving to be a good seed parent-setting hips with all crosses. And continuing to bloom despite the fact that it has about 20 maturing rose hips. anne

Love this rose. Keeps blooming and smells great. It is disease free, but I do spray. Winter protected with a shovel of dirt on the crown. Not much die back. Beautiful rose.
