Like so many others I have had bad luck with onion sets bolting early. I live in the hot interior ca. My son lives very near the Ca. coast with cool temps and a fair amount of fog. We have had good luck with plants there but I'm wondering if sets would do well because of the cool summers. I recently talked to someone who lives in the Bay area and he said he has great success with sets. Has anyone else had luck in cool areas with sets?
