Check with Blane Bourgeois at Horus Botanicals. Although it's probably not cataloged, yet, he was experimenting with some that had been found at an abandoned monestary in Ireland. He may have some to spare.

I'm in SSE, and I got some from a SSE member in the PNW. They are just now coming up. I tend to lose small seeded stuff in the weeds, and don't always get around to planting or later to transplanting leeks, so I thought a topset leek was a great idea.

I'll have to wait to find out what I got. With so many trades for "odd" stuff, I am certain that I ended up with Babbington's sometime the past 2 years. There was one which was not elephant garlic nor its feral wild southern stage. I ended up with something with bulbils in the leek section last fall. What I think are Babbingtons are now isolated for study. Time will tell what I have.

What I ended up with is not Babbington's Leek. At least I don't think so. Those are supposed to have bulbils in their seed heads but I didn't get them. In fact, didn't get any apparent viable seeds either. Bulb divisions were only into two large round halves with some plants and up to 4 round bulbs in others. There were a few bulblets similar to those associated with elephant garlic but very dark brown color. Very slow to reproduce so I'll be devoting less space to them. Whatever they are, probably better for the South.
