Hi everyone, I just discovered your onion and garlic loving forum. Up until my recent enlightenment, I thought alliums came from space ships! Just couldn't resist the chance to brag on my Grand Canyon Sweet onions, which I planted as seed for the first time last October. We harvested the last 10 this week, and they weighed 28 pounds! That is including the basket and a little foliage. They are huge and sweet, too. It is pretty funny when that slice of onion sticks out an inch or more past the bun on our burgers. I hope the Walla Walla's do as well, but I think I screwed up on the planting date. Will let you know. Email me if you want a picture, I am not smart enough to post one on the Forum.
