My garlic has bugs!

I was clipping the scapes on my garlic and noticed lots of teeny tiny black bugs on the scapes and on the leaves.See pics below. I don't know if I should just pull all of my garlic now (a few days early) and spray the bugs off with water or ???? My Purple Italian seems to have more bugs than my Music garlics. What to do now and how to prevent this infestation on next season"s plants??

I'd really appreciate any advice from you garlic lovers!

Aphids. Hose off and/or squish.
