Hey all,

The first of my gralic should be coming out of the ground in the next couple of weeks and it looks like a season of mixed results.

Hardnecks are a disaster this year with the high winter temps and excessive rain in the spring I will be happy to have planting stock left.

- Spanish Red, 40 cloves planted, 6 healthy plants

- German Red 40 cloves planted, 38 smallish plants

- German porcelain, 50 cloves, 50 huge plants, nice bulb development

- Korean Red, 35 cloves planted, late recovery is looking like I will have 25 healthy plants

- Chesnok, 40 cloves planted, jury still out if they will recover

- Musik, MIA

Softnecks on the other had look to be having a banner year, kettle River Giant, Palawa, Silverrose, and Walla Walla all 100% sprout and looking like a bumper year. Only the Inchelum has failed to perform. Thats the second year and I am thinking it doesnt like my climate.

E Garlic with another banner year. Hoping to have some exhibition quality bulbs this year. That would be cool.
