ok-I just pulled my first 2 bulbs.
1 is 41/2x4 and the other is 41/4x4inches.
Both fell over and were dried down to a few green leaves.
They are both red striped I would say.
More on the maroon color with the stripe, not dark pink or really red.
They both only have 4 large cloves, thats it.
Martin from your later sent mix would you have any idea as to possibly what variety I have pulled?
Anyone else have an idea?
All my garlics have between 7-9leaves(8average with most having the first leaf dried off since about after the first month of spring growth came on)
Except for the 2 that I tagged as possibly being softnecks due to them not having scapes. They also only have 5-6 leaves total for each.Martin mentions in another post that they probably are Inchellium.
Can I get an idea as to (1)the approximate clove count for Inchellium and can anyone post as to (2)what color will the pulled Inchellium (unwashed/rinsed)be?
Thank you all
