Has anything changed? It might have been helpful if you could have told us what the other kinds of onions are, but I've always had different kinds of onions bulb up at about the same time, so I'm not sure what could be going on here. I grew Ailsas, Copras, and Red Wing, and they are all bulbing up now for me.

My Ailsa Craigs are later than other varieties. The Walla Wallas and Candys are all harvested, while the Ailsa Craigs are still green and growing. Also my first year with the ACEs.

Your ailsa craig are long day onions and should start bulbing when you have 14 hrs of day light. I grow ailsa craig,candy and walla walla and they all start bulbing at about the same time here. YOPPER
