our harvest this year was exelant.8000 bulbs of 8 diffrent speicies.

last year i put in a new bed with just black dirt.(i didnt have time to finish it so i planted it annyway)the black dirt holds way too much watter and i lost about 10 bulbs do to rot.i will fix it this fall.my other beds are awsom.we use black dirt,sandy dirt (lots)compost ,and lamma dung.they have great drainage and produce some nice stock.

what is evryone useing for soil for their garlic beds
