This is the first year I planted garlic. I got a lot of "garlic flowers" filled with what I understand are bubils. Going through the site I learned they can be used as kind of seeds, but you have to be patient.

Another option could be to replace garlic in cooking. So the questions are:

1)Are garlic bubils edible?

2)Arey they more, less, equally pungent compared to the garlic in the bulbs?
