Two years ago I had raccoons chewing on onions that were drying down in place. Never happened before and has not happened since. Still have lots of raccoons, in spite of my reduction efforts. Nasty creatures.

So far we've had no coons get our onions either....been out since I posted this. I was thinking about it and we had these growing out in the middle of the yard un-fenced and nothing touched them so I guess we'll probably be fine...except for the couple that got eaten by mice.
