Mine haven't sprouted yet either...

Be patient, most of my delphs are sprouting, but some varieties coming slower.

Columbines take a while to sprout. They were some of my last ones last summer. I planted them out later and they did not bloom for me. However, they are already coming back this spring.

Wait a while on them they can be slow.

I read on another forum that columbines can take months, not just weeks, to germinate, they germinate irregularly, and if not fresh they take even longer. You might be putting that columbine jug in shade all summer, keeping it watered, and find sprouts as summer progresses!

It would be interesting to hear from other WS if this is their experience, too.

Yes, Columbines can make you wait and then they sprout sporadically. One of those seeds that tests your patience. :O) I still sow them every year. Can't get enough!

Mine are starting to sprout. But you are right, very sporadic.

I barely have the first leaves on some containers. None have two leaves yet.

Mine aren't up either. They're Seattle seeds planted in Eastern Indiana location. The PNW lupins sown the same day are coming along--about half with cotyledons and half with first true leaves.

Patience! I've got lots of little columbines, most of which grew by themselves last year but didn't bloom.

6 jugs of Columbine, not a sprout in sight here. But I've been here before and I know they DO come. And they are worth it. I have little patches all over my yard coming up right now from previously WS seed. Hang in there.

Thanks for the reassurance on these. I wasn't sure if I did something wrong or if I had bad seeds. Most everything I'd sown has a least one sprout, but, I really want these.
