According to directions that I received you put them in the soil pointy side down about half way and leave the other half sticking up. I ws'd mine on 2/14 (probably too early)and have not had any germination. I have a few more seeds left so I will probably sow them in a couple of weeks.

I read your post earlier today, and have been trying to remember how I did my GDs. I sowed them inside, HM/GL, mid Feb., didn't use the lights until they germinated, covered very lightly. Probably doesn't help you, but your post interested me-didn't know you could WS them!
I'm going to try to keep the ones I have over the winter; if they don't make it, will WS next year Good luck!!

I have tried to WS them in the past, but had no germination. This year, I am waiting until late April in hopes of having better luck. I don't believe they are frost tolerant.

Maybe that's why only two of my seven seeds germinated -- didn't know about the pointy side down. If I dig them up and replant would that help :)

I ws'd 2 more seeds today and I will sow the final 3 seeds at the end of April and see what happens. I will try to find the instructions that came with my seeds and see what if anything else is required. Caryltoo if you can find them go right ahead and plant them pointy side down, my eyes would never find them lol! I would stick with your method though, you have sprouts and I don't ;).
