Caring for Candytuft (Iberis)?

I winter sowed this a couple of years ago and have just one but it is doing well. I've never had this plant before and would like to know how you take care of your's in terms of cutting back. Should I cut it back at all? I just took the evergreen bows off it and it is still green but quite straggly.

At the same time, can I propagate by stem cuttings? If I can cut it back, would the stems I cut propagate if the weather stays in the mid 30F to mid 40F range for a while? I would love to have more and this could be a quicker way.

Next year I have to find seeds of the lovely pinks they come in. :O)
