In one of your post you mention treating blackspots with baking powder or baking soda and milk, what is the mixture portion? I thought Knock Out roses were blackspot resistant, well not mine :) It has started already bummer.

You can use the Cornell Formula - there are all kinds of variations on the original, which was 2 tablespoons of ultralight horticultural oil (Sunspray oil is the brand they used) and 4 teaspoons of baking soda in a gallon of water.

Google "Cornell Formula" and you'll come up with a lot of different takes on the original theme.

I was told to use 1 tablespoon of baking soda for a 1/2 gallon of whole milk. I don't know what the milk does exactly. The oil as PV mentions should help it stick to the plants. Be sure to spray under the leaves too. And do it on a cloudy day when it's not going to rain. This treats powdery mildew too.

Knockouts are resistant. They can still get it.
