I sowed a mixed pack from Park Seeds. Can't find the name right off hand. I got germination about 2 weeks ago. So I think you might want to give them a little more time. You're likely to see some sprouts soon. Mine are just starting to put out their second leaves. Last week, we were in the 90s several days. They loved the heat. Full shade for these from here on out.

The impatiens are on the left. The right and center are coleus. Since I expected germination at the same rates, I planted the three together in one pan.

I spring sow impatiens every year and have good germination. They do not bloom until the end of June here but then stay nice until frost. Will be sowing mine this week.

Two years ago I WSed impatiens for the first time, and had very little germination - and late.

Last year I tried again and had very good germination. I sowed them on April 5th and got germination on May 1st.

This year I'm a tad bit behind, lol. I was actually going to sow my impatiens today, but realized I only had a few seeds and did not want to waste my larger container on them (I'm not only late but short on containers, lol!). So I will probably sow the impatiens tomorrow or the day after.

Don't be "impatient" - sorry, couldn't resist. Okay, I'll go away now....

It's just too cold. When it warms up, they pop up quick.

I did get germination on impatiens balfori, which I discovered last year and just love. only sowed it a couple of weeks ago. Totally different than regular short bedding plants you buy in flats.
